Google review auto-reply

A new review on Google Business Profile Superclerk writes a reply submitted automatically with your permission

Choose a verified Google Business Profile location, a reply agent and your business context. After you authorize and publish the workflow, Superclerk drafts and submits replies to new unanswered reviews across all star ratings, including reviews without written comments.

Opens in Superclerk as a draft. Nothing runs until you publish it. One step asks you first.

How it works

Every step it takes, in order, and the ones that wait for you.

  1. New Google review Starts it
  2. Write a helpful review reply Step 1 · Your agent
  3. Post the reply if still unanswered Step 2 · Google Business Profile Asks you first
  4. Reply submitted or skipped Result

Why it helps

  • Set the context and tone

Give your reply agent the business details and style to use when thanking customers or acknowledging complaints.

  • Authorize automatic replies once

Your permission applies to new reviews at the location you select. Published review-triggered runs can reply without asking you each time.

  • Keep existing replies

Before submitting, the workflow checks the review again. It skips reviews that already have an owner reply or changed while the reply was being written.

What you’ll set up

What setup asks you to choose. Then publish. Nothing runs until you do.

  • Google connection
  • Business account
  • Business location
  • Reply agent
  • Business context and reply style
  • I authorize automatic public replies to new reviews at this location (type authorized)

Questions

When does it reply, and does it cover older reviews?

It checks the newest reviews every five minutes and reconciles older eligible reviews in the background. Reviews delayed by Google can arrive on a later pass. Reviews created before you enable the workflow are not backfilled.

Does it ask before each reply?

Published review-triggered runs reply automatically after you explicitly authorize the selected location. Draft tests and manual runs still require approval before a real reply is submitted.

Will a submitted reply appear on Google immediately?

Google may hold a reply for moderation or reject it. The run result records the returned state, and a rejection fails the run. If a send's outcome is uncertain, the workflow does not automatically send it again.

How do I stop it, and how long is review content kept?

Archive the workflow to stop automatic replies, including queued replies that have not been sent. Automatic cleanup removes stored Google review content and its run history after 29 days.
